Description
Graphic Controls, a Nissha Companyis seeking a Director of Corporate Finance to supervise the domestic controllers and has ultimate responsibility for integrity and accuracy of the consolidated financial reports. Integrates accounting functions of new acquisitions, prepares purchase accounting adjustments, and champions consolidation software use and maintenance.  Leads companywide financial accounting compliance, including audit process, JSOX, and parent company external reporting.     

Essential Functions
  • Train, mentor, and supervise the domestic controllers and their accounting teams.
  • Direct the consolidated reporting function and financial close process including review and analysis of results.
  • Oversee the internal control structure of the entity including design of and compliance with internal controls in order to satisfy J-Sox control requirements. 
  • Manage technical accounting aspects of the company including estimates, contingent liabilities, derivatives, consolidation, and purchase accounting.
  • Work as a cohesive team with CFO and controllers to evaluate, develop, and enact accounting policies as required.
  • Leads the use of , ongoing maintenance of, and implementation of (for entities not yet using) Oracle Financial Close and Consolidation Software.
  • Controls the Capex Evaluation Request (CER) process to identify, evaluate, and approve of capital purchases.
  • Assist CFO with management and improvement of corporate risk program.
  • Oversee companywide treasury management function.  Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Implement or delegate implementation of new ideas, initiatives, and improvements to current finanacial/accounting operations.
Requirements
  • BS  in Accounting required; CPA required. MBA a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years financial reporting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 5 years Supervisory experience required.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills; ERP systems experience, BI systems and financial reporting systems experience preferred.
  • Expertise in US GAAP, including purchase accounting, multi-currency, foreign consolidation and estimates.
  • Knowledge of IFRS.
  • Experience with treasury and risk management
